A wet cell generally consists of plates of two different materials that are placed in a saline or acid solution. When these plates are linked together by a(n)______,chemical reactions between them and the solution cause electrons to move.

These chemical reactions cause electrons to move onto one plate and ______the other.

The crowding of electrons on one plate and a lack of electrons on the other produces a(n)_________

Cells containing a moist conducting paste are called dry cells. They are called dry cells because the paste is not a(n)______

In dry cells, the plates may take the form of rods,_______, or cans.

Thank you!

Salt bridge...

Electrons will move onto one plate and away from another (that is, one plate collects the electrons, the other loses them).

A charge differential (aka "voltage") is produced by the crowding of electrons on one plate and a lack of electrons on the other.

Not an aqueous (watery) electrolyte. The dry cell has a dry electrolyte. You can also say "liquid/watery medium"

I am not sure about the last answer. Perhaps "pile"?
