I was watching a tv movie at the end of my first trimester with my hubby and I mentioned the name of the actor...Noah Wyle and hubby liked the name and I liked the name, so I had a really easy time finding my baby boy's name. Lillianna Grace is cute. How about shortening it to Liliana Grace, though?

sometimes it is difficult to find a name with just the right fit for an unusual last name.

sometimes it is because you have certain expectations of what the child may look like but you are unsure because it isn't born yet.

we tend to use family names for our children, that is to say that someone in our genealogy had the same name or a part of the name we used.

what is your ethnic heritage? there may be some appealing names in your background that are culturally rich and sound appropriate for your child.

do you have fond memories of a special friend or teacher who impacted your life for the better? perhaps all or a portion of their name would be appropriate for your child.

as to the name Lillianna Grace, it is beautiful and sound like a lovely name for your daughter.

its hard because you want your child to have a nice name you like, yet a name they won't hate later on in life lol. lillianna grace is a nice name. if i may, i just want to give you a tip: naming your child something with meaning is very cute in my opinion. i went to freetranslations.net (or com) and typed in words in english with good strong meanings and if they sounded nice in another language, thats what i would name my kids and also try babynameworld.com because they have thousands of (unique and nice) baby names with meanings and origins. good luck. oh, i want to name my daugter eiress (just think of heiress, but without the "h" since some people still think it's not silent lol). good luck naming her (or him...)

It can be hard you know. Now you might not be into this but I just prayed and asked God on what to name my baby and he gave me her name when I was 5 months pregnant. "Jamiah Nevaeh", and I was always wondering what it meant. Well she was born 10 weeks early, and the doctors were saying that it was possible that she would not make it and she did. Jamiah means God will uplift, and Nevaeh is heaven backwards. So it's like this God will uplift from heaven. So all you have to do is pray and He will give you something.

Good Luck!!!!

It's hard because this is something they'll have to live with for the rest of their life. You're marking them for life, and that's a lot of stress when you think that a sufficiently witty playground bully can make a nickname out of nearly everything these days.

I like your name, though. It has a good flow to it.

I agree it is hard finding names for your kids. My oldest ones name is Lily. I had a friend whos sister was named that and I just loved it. And it really fits her. I think when u ponder names you wonder if it will be a right fit. Check out this website. Its pretty cool

it is hard to decide because people want to please other people, they don't want anyone to say anything negative about the name, or just because of the simple fact that names are lots of names to choose from and people can even make up their own names.

maybe you can name them after someone who has made a difference in your life. im naming my baby boy after my dad who died when i was 15. its a great way of keeping there memory alive, and also giving my baby somthing of his grandfather who he will never get to meet.
