I'm using clinque super balanced make up and clinque powder but within hours it slids off my face and had a shiney/wet look to it. My face isnt what u woud call oily, it just looks that way..

you are not alone. A few years ago, I replaced my whole make up line with them. Spent like $300.00. Only to get home and hate it! I even had one of there professionals try to color match me and show me "the right way to apply it". Only to find out the foundation/coverup did not match me at all. I was not happy with anything. The make-up hardly lasted 4 hours. Most of it started to stink after a month-like moldy type of smell. I wont put that on my skin. So I threw it all away and got the basics from walmart. And bought other things from Lancome. they are my favorite. Sorry you are having trouble too. I guess the name isnt always what counts.

Ah, a valuable lesson here! Just because a product cost more doesn't make it better.
My guess is Clinque is usually bought by the more mature woman who tends to have dry skin that sucks up all the extra oils added to Clinque to temporarily give the illusion of more youthful skin.
Try a water based makeup.

Not all makeup is for everyone.. Some makeup just is not meant to be used on some people. My wife can not use Cover Girl. For you, it's clinque.

All skin care doesnt always agree with your skin, clinique I find to be good, but maybe you should try skin doctors or a cheaper brand like Garnier or a dearer brand like Lancome. Alaways truy and get a sample before you buy. Shishedo is great and easy on your skin, they do give out samples to try, but this is moving up the l;adder financially. Avon is quite good i do make up and Avon comes in at a good no 2. Just try before you buy-no samples-dont buy.

my sis used clinque and hated it. Its common. Try something new. Or talk to your dermatologists. I recomend Sephora or whatever the people at the mall do (besides clinque of course)

Try a different brand. It takes a lot of trial and error to find the right make up for you. The thing I hate is buying lipstick at discount stores. You need to try it on to see if it looks good on you but you need to buy it to do that. If it's not the right color you can't return it because it is open. It's a conspiracy.

lol you asked if i was cute but since you don't allow email i couldn't tell you, if you like stabbing westward i would get wither burn blister peel, and Darkest days. (2 albums) Torn apart is of darkest days. it's amazing. Oh track #2 on wither blister burn peel is really good as well.

thats funny, 2 days ago i i used clinique for 1 dayyyyyyy, and i got twooooooo pimples, and i never do, i was so upset that i used other than my favorite one, maybelline mousse(pure beige) it works great for me, clinique sucked big time ;(

It's Clinique !!! Try using less (less is more). be more natural and just use a little bit. Women are prettier that way.....
