Does anyone else find it ironic that she would choke military spending in Congress but insist on wasting military resources to further her political endeavors?

I think Pelosi should be applauded for going to Afghanistan since Bush seems to have forgotten that this is the real battle front on the war on terror. As for her paying her way to Afghanistan, I believe that the cost of her visit should be divided equally between the Afghan government and the United States government. When we have foreign leaders that visit us here in the U.S., when spend our own money and resources to provide security for them on top of whatever security they bring.

Pelosi is about number 3 person in the government today and has the political and government power of #2. she represents the Senate and has the responsibility to have the facts...I don't have a problem with any major government person traveling and spending for a plane ticket and other items involved...they represent us

They made the mistake of taking somebody else's word for it about Iraq. That's how we got into that mess. By the way, she didn't choke military spending, but added to the amount.
