That all depends on the person and the hat...like slash totally kicked butt in his hat, but i have also seen some people who really looked retarded in a hat...

rock shouldn't be about image, everybody wants to listen 2 a band with good image but in my opinion rock should be about the music not the image. if u change ur image and sacrifice ur music 4 image then in my opinion i think u r a sell out. the great bands go out there and rock their asses off in t-shirts and jeans and tht is how a rockstar should dress, in my opinion wear w/e u want but dont make ur band known by their image, make them known by their music

Depends on what hat. They can't wear a hop hat cause that's Slash's. They can as long as they don't overdo it.

Sure why not? Slash from GNR wears tophats all the time. I think its pretty cool its what he's known for other than his amazing talent with his Les Paul.
