I think you already know the answer to that. If you respect your wife you will not. If you say that your ex-love is a just a friend. Than you will not have a problem telling your ex-lover that you will be bring your wife along! We are truly lacking morals and ethic so be honest and respect the marriage with your wife>!!

NO!!!!! are u seriously thinking about that??? how do u think ur spouse would feel knowing you were even thinking about going to dinner with your ex lover??? and how would u feel if ur spouse went out and had dinner with their ex lover???!!! do not do it unless u are ready for constant fighting or even divorce that would be just very disrespectful

Have you discussed this with your spouse? How do they feel? Are they invited?
Many of the problems with marriages today boil right down to lack of respect for the other partner.
If you meet this person behind your spouse's back it is not only disrespectful it is dishonest.
Personally even though a couple X's will always have a special place in my heart they are just that X's. Meeting up with them isn't an idea I even care to entertain.

Skip the dinner and go straight to a hotel room. Enjoy each other in secret and then go home to your husband and make love to put him off the trail. Good luck.

hmmm. my ex came back to town for a few days and he wanted to take me out. my hubby said he was ok with it because he trusts me. ok, I go out with my ex and we went to drink some beers and took me home. next day my hubby took me to the movies and i got a text message from my ex, since i didnt have anything to hide I read the message in front of him and it said: hi, miss you. WOW you can imagine my hubby's face!!! he said: seems like you two had a GREAT time last night huh? and he got all mad. i called my ex to complain and told him I was not going to lose my hubby for anything in this world and that I didnt want to be friends with him anymore. SO, if you want to go out with your ex lover, you know the risks... I wouldnt, would you?

I would say absolutely not. Unless of course you plan on taking your wife along with you to dinner. Otherwise, it is completely inappropriate!
Put yourself in her place. Would you be okay with her going to dinner with someone that she used to sleep with? Probably not.
