...in order to justify their own feelings of national inadequacy? I personally have nothing against America, have very good friends there and love to visit the country. I do, however, disagree with their unfair and archaic electoral and political system that keeps the power in the hands of the few very rich, and allows them to act as the bullies of the world in arming the smaller countries for profit and then invading when those countries use those arms. And before anyone uses the "overthrowing of inhumane regimes" excuse, how come there are no US troops in Zimbabwe? I know why - they have no OIL!

I'm sorry to say that in the case of Zimbabwe (as in the case of Rwanda and Sierre Leone) I truly believe it's a matter of race and political correctness rather than the oil issue.

Not to mention that the tragedy in Mogadishu led to a dramatic change in American foreign policy, this led to an international failure to do anything meaningful in the Balkans, as well as Rwanda and Sierre Leone - oh, I mentioned it!

Good point anyway...

Most of these posters - on either side left or right- or most likely teenagers who are not yet able to form a position on their own and defend or promote it on intellectual grounds. So they cut n paste someone who can or post inflammatory garbage for effect.

are you suggesting the idle, low in ambition poor should run the country. Come on get real.

The USA had troops in the UK defending Europe during the last 50 years and there was no oil there as well.
