What I'm looking for is a UVB bulb that will also give off a fair amount of heat. This is for bearded dragons. I would like something similar to a Power Sun bulb. They are expensive, so I'm looking for alternatives.

I forgot to mention that we're in need of approx 20 bulbs, hence the $100 price tag is not an option.

Try a mega ray...

For our BD we use a regular household bulb for heat and a Exo Terra flourescent tube for UVB

Yes, mercury vapor bulbs produce heat as well as much stronger UVB than the fluorescents.

They are very expensive (I've been trying to switch over to them myself), but shop around and you can find some cheaper ones... LLLReptile.com has some for about 40 bucks a piece, that's about as cheap as they come. Brands like Arcadia or Megaray are supposed to be the best, but the price is definitely higher.

The only bulbs that put out both at adequate levels are mercury vapor bulbs. No other light will put out enough levels of both UVB/UVA *AND* Heat. MVB's can be bought at reptileuv.com but if your buying a bulk amount of lights it wont be cheap. Most MVB's or UVB bulbs need to be replaced every 6 months anyways. If your looking to buy more then one there is no way it'll be under $100.
