I've not spoken to my close female friend for 4 months as we got to close.I told her that I wanted no contact so that I could get over my feelings for her. SHE ONLY WANTED TO BE FRIENDS!

We 3 WEEKS AGO at a friends party,we spoke a lot,but she still looked hurt+uncomfortable at times.

Today I asked her if I could add her as my friend on Facebook(via email)THATS ALL I ASKED,NOTHING ELSE.She wrote bck: asking how I am,what she done on her wkn and said I can add her "as a friend lol"

I said how I was and asked NO questions about herself-

SHE WROTE BACK AGAIN, saying I should be having fun with the ladies and to join her appreciation society!Wrote back saying I've been having fun wth other girls-too much fun!

She didn't reply to that email-though I asked how her dancing is going-WHY NO REPLY??

I'm shocked as she said via txt 4 weeks ago that the friendship is OVER!!!Did she mean what she wrote in the txt???

Is the friendship restarting??? A POSITIVE SIGN???

Just be yourself and don't try to hard. If you are like me you will have your foot in your mouth if you think about it too much. Just go slow and steady and the friendship will return.

wow this is definetly a difficult situation. sit them down face to face and say we need to discuss this. tell her that you are not emotionally at all ready to be in a relationship and you just want to be friends. ask her to tell everything she wants to. dont get defensive and allow her to finish what she says. say im sorry that you want to be more than friends even though i want only your friendship from you. she shouldnt have written in the text that it was over. if she meant it she should have found a different way to say it. remember if she doesnt bend at all and is being way to cryptic to handle... this is when to drop the friend. shes probably a great woman but this shouldnt be how a friend behaves. move on.
