I would say my single parent messed up my entire life for being an abusive, self centered, alcoholic, gambler and outright manipulative person.Thank god some of my family members took care of me even if they didn't have to.they manage to bring my hopes up and guide me to being an independant adult and also teach me to love myself(been abuse for so long)I'm scared of ppl getting drunk and abusive and almost choke in tears when ppl around me fight or rise their voices at me.I also used to be a bad tempered person but i've change for the better so yeah my victory is you'll never get a chance to see this gal of yours turn out so much better and respectable than you could have been

Nothing except I would ask them not to allow the school to make me skip third grade. That made a big difference to me and I would never do that again. They are too old to blame for such a small thing. It's all old people can do to remember their own lives much less other's. Forgive them. You will feel lighter and your back won't hurt.

How can you tell somebody that it would have been better if they hadn't been so clueless about life?
