It's okay. They aren't called irrational fears because they make sense. I'm always afraid to use public restrooms in my flip-flops, because in men's rooms the little walls between urinals don't go all the way to the floor, and there's always the nagging concern that the guy next to me might miss...

Careful there, girlfriend - you're on your way to have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder which is NOT something you want to have. Ever hear about the person who constantly checks on previously locked doors or washes their hands 'till they're raw and dry?
What happens if you let your little 'habit' have free reign.
Please let it go or you might get in trouble!

While even paranoids have enemies, I think you are carrying it a bit to far.
Do you live by yourself?
Do you have any pets?
Are you afraid of sleeping for the same reason?
Think about it, and realize that your fears are groundless. The are real, don't get me worng, but they are groundless never the less. . .

Lock the door when you go into the bathroom, or shampoo your hair with your eyes open.

try singing in the shower out loud, that does it for me! you are just spooking yourself out by thinking about it too much... remember these words and say them to yourself the next time you are in the shower
"There is nothing here, its all in my mind"
best of luck
