Me and my boyfriend are looking to go on our first holiday together this year. The problem is he doesn't have a passport and has no intention of ever getting one (long story). Can anyone suggest any places other than Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland we can visit? I know we can travel to Jersey without a passport but I was wondering if there was anywhere warmer? Thanks

Wow... a brit without a passport?! Cornwall will be the warmest place you can get to.. why don't you buy a lonely planet guide to Britain, we did and it's great. It shows you your own country like a new one. But if you want sand and sun and beautiful scenery, I definitely suggest Devon or Cornwall..or the Isle of white...but thats quite quiet there.By the way..never ever ever go to the Isle of Man..I work there for a month every year and it's the loneliest weirdest unhealthiest place ever!

There is nowhere else warmer that you can travel without a passport and to be honest Jersey dosent have that much there for a great holiday.

You can travel to the Isle of Man!!

He will need some sort of photo ID if you decide to go to either the Channel Islands, Ireland or the Isle of Man usually a photo driving licence but you would need to check with which ever means of transport you are taking.

Best of luck

Do you need a passport to visit any EEC countries? I'm not sure, ask Fred down at the pub, he usually knows everything, if he doesn't know at least it should start a good argument and upset some of the regulars who think they are the only ones allowed to get heated up and shout. Buy me a shandy for giving you these pearls of wisdom.

If you're in the UK you can probably travel to most of the EU without a passport (except by air), and between EU and other Schenghen countries (Norway, Iceland, Switzerland) but you won't be able to get back into the UK again!
