I grew up speeking english and my language. I want to help my people so I want to be an Interpreter. I want to know what I have to do to become one. Im a junoir right now in high school. Do I have to go to college or what i am i supose to do? Please and Thank you for helping.

I just had the opportunity to work with some interpreters for work last week.

Those that I worked with did not have a specific degree in "translation"...However, they did have business degrees, which made them much more capable of translating our information, as it was all business related. I highly recommend that you go to college and get a degree, as this will make you much more employable, regardless of what you do for a living.
