Yes totally fed up and its all lies, the temparature of the earth is affected by solar radiation and that can and has varied thoughout time. Who even said the temparature should be constant. Volcanos put out far more co2 than mans puny efforts. But still it gives the government something else to tax and I'm sure Tony 4 houses Blair will be and 2 Jags Prescott will be leading by example (not).

if you want the outcome of something to be positive, the input in that needs to be positive. similarly, if we want the future of the earth to be positive, we also need to put positive things into it. environmental degradation is not benefiting our planet. however, we all know that we are going to die someday, then if we are going to leave this planet sooner or later, what condition would you like to leave it in? most people would agree that the environment in which a child grows up in directly affects the behaviour and attitudes towards life the child has. if we leave behind a damaged planet, then what will happen to our children? we have to realise that some people do not agree that global warming is happening but still, thinking on terms of right and wrong, is it right to let all of the pollution that we produce today get into the atmosphere and cause numerous illness that people all over the world die from?

This whole hooplah on Global Warming lately is being built up be celebs and politicians that want to "feel" like they are doing something meaningful and to point fingers at those who are not being crazy activists like them.

Do you not know that in the 70's the same types of fanatics celeb and political alike were freaking just like they are now about how we were headed into the next ICE AGE!!!! I dont know about you guys, but I certainly doubt we are in an ice age at this moment.

Please people do your research before you get all freaked out, because weather patterns show that alot of this is just a CYCLE!!

And for all you earthy people, I bet most of yall did not know that there are more trees in this continent today than when it was first settled...look it up.

Yes because apparently it is a natural phonomena

Yes because of all the environmental hype and scandalous business that is dependent on it

However it is wholly agreed that we need to reduce pollutants in the environment but the two are not related, apparently.

Everyone is frenzied up to the eyeballs about effects of pollutants but are not managing it in the right way. Perfect example is UK's recyling program which is non existent, yet the government plans to focus on penalising people who travel by airplane to reduce carbon emissions by relative terms is minimal in comparison to carbon emissions from industries and cars!

Glob-warming? I've never heard a word about it.

If you mean global warming, no.

But I am sick to death of the whiners who complain about hearing about it, and would prefer to destroy this world than face reality.

Ignorance is the reason for global warming in the first place, and if it continues at this rate the Earth will be uninhabitable before you know it.

yes I am - I want to hear the policies about Law and order, taxation, education etc too.

I'm sorry but until the USA, India & China get their act together, it'll never make a difference no matter what we in the UK do.

Yes it is becoming very BIG STORY, but the government only tell you what they want to tell you. It does beg the question - Just HOW serious is it???

Personally, I think the world is worth looking after, re cycling etc., if only for my grand children. Its your world, your life, your choice.
