I was swimming lengths before work in may 2004 when the pool attendants erected a waterpolo goal post while i was in the pool. I was up to length 28. The lane was completely free of any obstacles until i got to length 28. Since then it truly has been a really difficult time. I have had many medical appointments and have an important appointment tomorrow. I am hoping for and acknowledgement of the error that was made in order to me to move on. I would like to go overseas. thankyou...

Good Luck. You can hire a lawyer and sue them for negligence causing injury. That will take lots of doctors records etc. Because their lawyer is also allowed to ask for evidence they will fight it. Don't worry. Were there any witnesses willing to do a affidavit? If you worked at a job for 5 yrs prior to this injury you can hire a disability atty and get on SSDI. If you did not work 5 yrs prior to the accident you will qualify for SSI this will include medical on both counts. These lawyers will most likely work on contingency. It will depend on the settlement whether the insurance will pay out a lump sum. As far as disability goes you will get back pay and it may be in a lump sum or payments plus checks each month depending on your previous income My hubby was injured and I know more about this subject than I want to. It takes time.
