Copenhagen, wkend break...?

Headin to Copenhagen for weekend break, wondering is it very expensive and can anyone recommend a hotel, cheapish!!
We are two 22 year old girls looking for good nightlife in nice surroundings, do this fit the bill!!??

"Rust" is probably the hot club right now.

My tip would be to actually stay across the bridge in Sweden, you will get a nicer hotel for less. Having stayed in supposed four star in both Copenhagen and Malmö I can say that the Malmö hotel (Radisson SAS) was more like five star and the Copenhagen hotel (Nyhavn 71) was more like a three.
Malmö is 20mins from Copenhagen airport (Copenhagen is 30 mins from Copenhagen airport!).
Being a capital city, Copenhagen can seem expensive.
Final tip :The Metro is great - no drivers - go to the front carriage and you can look out the "windscreen"

Danhostel is located right near the train station and also near Tivoli Gardens. The price is around only 20 euros, but bed linens are extra. It's clean and very modern. Dorm rooms contain about 8 beds. People are friendly and helpful. The location is terrific, it offers many amenities including internet and snack machines with upstairs breakfast area for a few extra euros. Not exactly close to the nightlife, though, which will require a short taxi ride.

I went to Copenhagen for an Easter weekend a few years ago. It's a pretty city, but can't say I would be quick to go back. It is expensive, just like any other European city. A weekend would be more than enough. Summer time is supposed to be better as then Tivoli Gardens is open (amusement park).

As for accommodation I'm not sure which is the cheapest, but there is a pretty cheap hotel on Islandsbrygge (metro) and its close to the water where you can take a dip, but that might be to cold.
As for going out..oh dear where to start. I would recommend to start at Lise's Butik, it's close to Vega where our Crown Prince used to go out (hes married now) Vega is good for a more urban feel. If you like Mexican cocktails go to Mexi bar. It dead cheap during the happy hour and its close to Rust, which have some pretty good DJ's. If you want a more mainstream feel, go to den blaa Betjent, which is right by Storke Springvandet, a famous fountain.
I could go on, but I hope you guys have fun. Just remember Lise's Butik is know for its cheap cocktails, so there will be a Que to get in (its free, don't worry) unless you go early

I think it was the Neptune Hotel near the harbour which was not great but cheap. Beware of Copenhagen taxis, they have two speeds, 50mph and stop. Pretty good place for a weekend break.

Hey gals,U can always opt for pension houses than hotels as they are "cheaper" than hotels.There is a list of clubs on the link i've googled up for u so that u can pick & choose.Also u might wanna hop into "Tivoli" as they have a few drinking spots within the amusement park itself or visit the famous Nyhavn.Have fun gals..Welcome to Scandivania :)

you have info on just about anything related to copenhagen
when choosing a hotel , try to find one close to the city center, it might cost more but it'll save you money for the cab rides late at night, besides the night life is in the city - for you girls i recommend VEGA.
