I want to re-do my exhaust on my 79 blazer, it has a 5.7 350 in it.

I want to run a 3" exhaust, I bought a magnaflow carsound 3" cat and a Flowmaster Super 44 3" as well. Can I do the exhaust and wait on the headers, or should I do the headers and wait on the exhaust? Or should I wait a few months and do it all at once???

do it all at one time, it will be less expensive if you do.

All at once will give you better results. Less likely to have something in a bind from trying to make something fit a previously installed part.
