I sat in the room when my Grandmother passed. It was like she just stopped breathing and that was all. We were all in a wierd form of relief. She had suffered a lot. It was peaceful.

Yes, a few times living in "the hood". i am always sad even when it was someone I didnt know . i literally saw a boy talkin one minute and dead with 2 gunshots to the head the next. It makes you a lil paranoid while walking around and as soon as i was able .. I moved. But what hit me the hardest was my MOM. She died right in front of me from a massive stroke Nov 2004 and i still hurt everyday i think about it. But @ the time I was more concerned for my sisters.

Yes, there was a family of tourists in Picadilly Circus in London. The father just collapsed. People were queuing up to give artificial respiration, but he didn't make it. I remember the wife crying hysterically, as you would. It didn't affect my life at all. I mean, it wasn't violent or grisly. I just felt sorry for the family.

yes i was doing a clinical rotation in EMT school and watched a baby born, and did cpr on a man who died, all within an hour. It wasn't too bad its a part of life. You do step back and take a look at things though.

No, but I would hate to see someone dye in front of me. I already was scared when I saw and accident right in front of my eyes. Especially the ones you love...that would scar you for life. I hope I never see that happen....^_^

Yeah...my Grandfather =( and a patient I had while working as a CNA. Of course, they were very sad. My grandfather's breathing was labored - he had cancer - and the other woman - I had known her before actually - died with her eyes wide open looking like she was totally in awe.

yes. My OWN mother was hit by a truck right in front of me just a month ago today. We were walking on a sidewalk and a drunk driver hit her from behind. She's not dead, but I just though I'd share this with you. :(

yes, my father,he was suffering from cancer....hanging on by a thread, the doc said, I held his hand and told him softly in his ear...not to worry I'd take care of mum....it was ok to rest now....he died within minutes...I think he was at Peace.....
It effected my life in that at that moment I took on a great responsibility, but I always knew that I would be the one to step up and care for my parents or the remaining parent (! have 2siblings older than myself)
Blessed Be!
