depends on what you want .
if you want somethng that is easy to ride then the honda its just boring though.
the gsxr is the bike to have if you want loads of midrange infact my old k5 750 out pulled an r1 on a straight.
the r1 most people i know thaqt try it have said its not that good if you have ridden others.
the kwak is just ugly now.. it use to be nice looking but its a good bike.i think for fun the gsxr wins hands down i just bought a new k6 1000 yoshi and its brilliant but its very much a riders bike.
MV's are nice but what you spend on one you could spend the difference at crescents and no bike would touch the gsxr after.
as for ducati there not in the same league as MV's and very over ratted and not as quick as it was hyped up to be.
the aprillia RSV factory is worth a look if you like the servicing costs but again much better then the duke IMO.
if you do get a gsxr i would say skip the k7 and get a k6 its a better bike.

at the end off the day its for you to try and see what you feel happy and comftable riding.

Depends what kind of superbike you want.If you want a really serious trackbike with properly sorted handling and looks to die for you should consider an MV agusta. My MV blows away all the 1000's on the track and the front end is awesome.I usually pass 3 or 4 bikes down the back straight ay Cadwell just by virtue of the superb brakes.l can get tons of power down coming out of corners and it never wriggles or breaks away. When I get back on my ZX9R I think I am driving a boat.Everyone will drool over it wheb you park up.Even Jamie Whitham said 'lovely bike' to me on a track day.You should be able to pick one up for £12K if you scan the Ad's.

the 06 and 07 zx10 is actually REALLY nice... not that many people drive them compared to the gsxr and the r1 so it will stand out more. you can't go wrong with the gsxr or yamaha however...

not much to pick between any of the Jap bikes, there all good....

Duke will cost you more....but you get more back when you sell it.....

personally Id go for the R1....but thats just me....

you will probably enjoy whichever you choose...

so it dosnt matter what we think..only what you pick..
