I have alot of money to spend on it, and I want it to be a surprise birthday party since he has never really had a great birthday. He is just your usual guy but I am just not sure what I should do.

Why dont you take him out on a trip, instead of a party. that way he will enjoy his self and not spend the money on other people having fun. Why dont you go with him. You are a nice friend. Wanna be my friend?

get some people together and have a big paintball fight! That is always fun! Or, if you have enough money, hire a local band to play at the party!
for my best friends birthday we payed to have a halfpipe built in his back yard... its just was really hard to keep him out all day! He love skateboarding (and i luv watching his friends skateboard..=D) but we dont have a skatepark here in town and skateboarding is prohibited under the city-wide cruising ordinance... so he cant just go skate in parking lots and stuff.
There are alot of fun things you can do!

- a jumper. - candies. - make him a c.d with all his fav songs. - make him a record of a hundred the clarification why i such as you. - placed a lovable image of you and him in a physique. - purchase him something that is composed of activities (e.g, kit, jersey, etc.) the wonderful element you're able to do is purely take him to the mall or so and purely watch him, while it is composed of paying for lol a guy assist you to appreciate what he likes, if no longer verbally, he will by way of physique language, purely watch him lol. Then that way purchase what he likes ;). Take him out to consume, no longer vastly fancy yet an surprising place.

Take him out to a movie and treat him to dinner and just spoil him because it's his birthday and show him a good time a birthaday he will never forget!! I'm 17 and my friends took me out for my brithday and they made me so happy...adn you only get to be 16 one time!!!

Gather friends up and make it a movie night with snacks and other good stuff like, games, contest and most of a all girls....lol lol

play twister, watch a cool movie, bring out board games, sing karioke music, etc... thats the stuff i am doing for the party i am having. =D
