So our troops are dieing, we are fighting terrorists, trying to rebuild a country...

and you're complaining about socialism in America? Believe me true socialism will never come into the US. What America has right now is a mix of socialism and capitalism. So whether you think so or not, you're part socialist. Sure, much more capitalist than socialist, but still.

If you think free quality education and health care for all is socialism, then I'm all for it. I say bring on Hillary for eight yrs. and then Barak Obama for eight more and we will be fine. When Bill Clinton left office we had a huge surplus, now we owe the Chinese TRILLIONS of dollars. So he got a hummer while in office, so what? That's for him and his wife to work out. I can just see Rush Limbaugh having a heart attack now, with Hillary as president and Bill as first Gentleman. That would be so excellent. Even better, if Barak was Hillarys running mate. Wow eight yrs. as vice president, that would seal the deal. I get a warm and tingly feeling just thinking about it.

You reminded me it has been an awful 22 years - but the 1st clinton years were not the worst and nothing could be as bad as the George W. Bush years.

It won't take that long. Clinton isn't the Dem's main candidate, she's their human shield. Nobody paying attention, including her, can possibly believe that she'll be the President of the United States. She's just drawing fire to protect more qualified candidates.

So now its not the Democrats who are socialists...its just the Clintons?

I believe that many Americans should listen closely to the plans proposed by the Dems with respect to social programs. With open minds, instead of dismissing them summarily as socialist. At the end of the day, they may not agree with the plans, but learning is never a dangerous thing. And people could start making informed decisions and criticisms...as opposed to the ignorant labelling that is happening now.

Once Hillary loses the 2008 presidential election, we just have to vote her out of the Senate and send her off to Moscow or Havana and let her live the life she wants US to live.

Ew, she's icky.

My question is - if this happens, who will the conservatives have to blame for all the ills in this country? Without the Clintons to blame - will conservatives have to look at solutions to problems and stop blaming two people for everything they consider bad with our government? For someone who spends so much time bashing the Clintons you sure do credit them with great influence and power. As much as I dislike Bush - I do have the good sense to know the state of our country right now is not solely attributable to his mistakes and inability to govern. Enough with the anti-Clinton rhetoric.

Sorry to bust your bubble but Senator Clinton was just re-elected in 2006. Unless she resigns to run for the presidency, which she is not required to do, she'll be around to bug the crap out of you for some time to come yet. LOL.
