do the cello and the bass guitar hav e the same sound. and do they play the same? like with the same notes and stuff?? wat are the differences??

No, the open strings on a cello are C G D A

on a bass they are E A D G

They both read bass clef.

The cello has no frets, the electric bass does

on that one I am not positive. ask the know it all who seems to think that you were talking about a stand up bass in your last question. lol. i believe the bass guitar is lower, depending on how many strings you go with ( 4 5 or 6) the more strings the lower the sound

I am not too sure i am teaching myself bass so i think it would be good to find this out lol. i havent ever played the cello b4... but i have seen it played. so idk.... sorry i couldnt answer your question but i hope someone does answer tho cuz i would also like to know. Good Luck♥
