Honestly i think gaara has had the worst past life.

Both had a worse past life which I wouldn't wish to anyone. I would go and say to one of them "You had it so much better then ..."

GAARA all the way, he had to grow up with people-- his own father trying to kill him like every day. And his uncle, the only one who had ever shown love for him, in the end tried to kill him too, after telling him that he hated him and it was his fault his mother died. Also Naruto never knew about the kyuubi inside of him until age twelve, Gaara on the other hand lived every day knowing that this horrible beast was inside him, even possessing him at some times. Sure Naruto was lonely and didn't know why people hated him. but at least he had Iruka, and now his life is much better. And Gaara's life still sucks.

Like many people said, Gaara. At least until now.
Points:
- He had Shuukaku, the beast that strikes when he sleeps. So he was afraid of sleeping, and caused him to have black eyes.
- People around him hated him so much, thought of him as a monster.
- His father tried to kill him.
- His uncle, the only person he trusted, tried to kill him, and also revealed that he really hated Gaara for killing his sister (Gaara's mother)
- Even his siblings are afraid of him.

- Added by the fact that he was *killed* by Akatsuki, for the demon inside of him.
- If it wasn't for Naruto's cries and Chiyo-baasan's sacrifice, he's surely dead. Surely...

I think Gaara, because the one he loved was ordered to kill him and hated him anyway. Naruto had it bad but he found friends as he grew up, gaara stayed lonely for a far longer time.

I think gaara had a worst past life. Being ignored is one thing but to hated by you own father and everyone and tryed to be killed by them is another.

Gaara all the way because naruto he just grew up with people who hated him and were scared of him and he had no parents but Gaara had people who hated him and were scared of him too and his mother is dead and his father tried to kill him. and he also had no friends just like naruto.
