I had my ears pierced 3 years ago but on of the backs went inside my ear and i had to go to the emergency room to get it removed. The doctor said wait at least two years to get them re pierced. I'm wanting to get them repierced, but there is a bunch of scar tissue there, so basically theres a hard bump in my ear,
Will this affect my piercing process at all?

A lot of people claim that the scar tissue will help keep the piercing from migrating or being pushed out. It'll hurt a lot more this time around. You should definitely consult a professional piercing in advance to talk about the complications.

You may have to move the hole over just a bitto be right beside the old hole and an ear ring would cover it up. It really depends on what kind of place you go to. Some have a problem with it for obvious reasons and others believe it is fine.

First ask your doctor, then if they say it's fine, ask the piercer when you go to get it done just to be safe.
