When shopping for clothing, particularly t-shirts/tops, does modesty matter? Do you look for high necklines, long lengths? Or could you care less?

Yep....Modest is definitely hottest. I actually have a T-shirt that says exactly that!!! If you want decent guys to notice you, then wear decent clothes, because decent guys are going to write all slutty girls off as ^#^$&s. On the other hand, the sicko boys will zoom right in on the viewed as "bad girls" who dress like $%&#. Hope this helps!!

I am 20 and in university and I could care less! Its basically whatever I like. A lot of my shirts are just basic t-shirts because thats the easiest. I have a lot of v-necks too, but I have no boobs so I definitely don't need a low cut shirt to flaunt what I don't got! I love the longer shirts they're coming out with now too... Tunics... gotta love em. I am also a layer queen, I love wearing tank tops under a tee, etc.

Im in college, and I dont specifically go out looking for things that are made to cover up as much as possible but for everyday wear I usually avoid low cut tops just because they arent very comfortable when Im just trying to laze about and I dont need creepy ugly guys looking at me all day long. I'll just buy regular tshirts or whatever with average coverage. I think that sometimes girls look desperate when they make such an effort to wear skimpy clothes.

Believe me..Modesty is the answer..And dress to be respected..Have fun..But don't go immodest..Modesty shows confidence..Shows you can get what you want..While covering up..But check this out..My Older brother is in the fashion business and he totally agrees..When dressing a customer at his store..He always puts them in covering clothing..But don't be to obsessed...Where what is cute and what you feel confident in..As long as you don't look sleazy!
I am 14!! and I'm a female.
Hope I could help!!

Hello I am a female and I am 18. I think modesty makes a statement. It says you care about your image and you have respect for your body. Also you won't attract weird attention to yourself. I like long t-shirts, I think they are more slimming then short belly bearing ones. Don't get me wrong I like to showcase what I have, just in moderation!!!!!

Depends on the weather. I am not going to wear long sleeves or max coverage in the summertime. Tanks or sleeveless shirts are good, but never anything tacky like bare midriffs or see through material.

I'm a girl- I'll be 13 in a month, and I have no desire to wear the short shorts and skirts that the other girls at my school wear. I'm just not comfortable in stuff like that.. I won't purposefully avoid certain types of clothes, it just depends on if I'm comfy in them or not.

I'm 18 and a girl, and modest is really good. It's not dorky or anything. It's also ok to splurge occasionally. But a whole wardrobe of skimpy clothes is gross.

I already answered a similar question... But I like tight t-shirts that are either right at the top of your pants, or show just a little line of my stomach.

well im not prude and im not innocent and pure with the way i dress. i tend to go for brighter things that show some clevage but honestly i don't like let everything hang out. i try to go for a happy balance its a way to look attractive yet not trashy i think you need to know where to draw the line. Im 15 and a female. hope that helped
