My boys birthday is coming up and I was thinking of getting him a pair of crocs (he wants a pair, not sure why, I think they're hideous). Anyways, his shoe size is 10.5! So what should I do, get him a 10 or an 11? They don't sell them in half sizes.. what would you do?

You never go down a size, however all brands vary in size so the best answer is to try them on to see. If they are going to be surprise then go for an 11, you can always put an insole in them if they are slightly too large until he grows into them.

An 11 will be better. He can grow into them a bit then, and be able to wear them with thicker socks. Buying a size 10 is just getting him a pair that's too small, and that really hurts!

You could always order both to see which fits best and send the other one back. A website such as http://www.zappos.com offers free shipping both ways, so the returns are free.
