A. Pimples hurt because they inflamed skin pores.
B. Pimples are caused when your pores get clogged. Dead skin can clog your pores, so make sure that you wash your face once in the morning when you first get up and a night before you go to bed. Don't, DON'T pop your pimples. It can make them worse. Instead, take a washcloth and run it under really hot water. Then gently press the washcloth on your pimple. You might need to re wet it cause it cools quickly. Keep doing this until the head breaks. Then put some antibiotic cream on it.
C. You can buy medicine at your local Drug Store or CVS. If you have serious acne, try ProActive or a prescription drug.
D. Popping your pimples can cause scaring.

I'll be more useful than the other answerers, okay?
A. Pimples most likely hurt because they are a build-up of bacteria under your skin.
B. You can prevent pimples by washing your face at least twice daily, but not too much. Washing a million times a day will irritate your skin and cause pimples to flare up even more! Also, try not to touch your face. The bacteria on your hands can get trapped underneath your skin and cause a build-up, which you don't want.
C. You can treat pimples by buying a face wash at a drug store. If that doesn't work, you can ask your doctor to prescribe something stronger.
D. Popping pimples can scar. I've never heard of it not scarring, so just let the pimple go away on its own.
Remember these things, too:
-When washing your face, don't scrub. Be gentle!
-Like I said, don't wash your face every 5 minutes. With a little TLC, your face will go back to normal.
-Don't be afraid to put your best face forward! Everyone deals with acne at one time or another; even adults. You're not alone!
Good luck!

a pimple is an infection under the skin in one of your pores that's why they hurt. You can carefully squeese white heads or black heads..but if you have Acne..go to a Dermatologist, because those can scar.
There are some really great things out there for Acne and pimples now...things that really work. Look for products with 10% or more Benzoyl Peroxide. You can put that directly on the blemish and it will start to clear up right away. There are also some bath products with that ingredient and it works well.
Try not to touch your face with your fingers unless you have washed your hands first.

they hurt b/c it's an infection under the skin.
some will get acne no matter what. eat healthy, wash you face at least 2-3 x a day with a mild oil free cleanser. use an astringent if your skin is very oily-only if it isn't broken out at the time.
proactive has helped many. it can work if used properly. there are other products in stores if your acne isn't real bad.
popping doesn't always leave a scar. but why take the chance? you can try hot compresses to bring it to a head sooner. there is something called cystic acne which is what i would get. not a lot of blemishes, just one or two at a time, but very large and painful. hot compresses were the method of choice to bring it to a head.
don't pick,that will leave scars.

Inflammation of the skin can be painful. If you keep picking at them, they will hurt.
Wash your face at least twice a day with a mild soap, keep your hands away from your face, and try to stay away from food with a lot of impurities.
Wash your face, or use alcohol, or astringent, or some other such cleaner. If they are red and inflammed, crush some aspirin tablets and put them in Witch hazel. This will reduce the redness.
Some can scar, yes. Just leave them alone and they will go away on their own.
If you wash your face with warm water, make sure you rinse with cold water afterwards.
