A suggestion would be to list the numbers in the correct order (increasing)

Range: largest # - smallest #

Mean: All the numbers added together divided by the total number of numbers. For example: (43+8+19+35) / 4

The Range is the difference between the largest number and the smallest number.

The mean is the average of all of them. (you add them up and divide by the # of them)

The only way for you to learn/memorize it is for you to do it yourself.
