That's all I know, too. An old friend's grandparents traveled the world and he said that they lived there because they determined, apparently based on much experience, that sanDiEGO (our affectionate word for the place) had the best weather on the planet.
Consequently, finding a job there is dicey. I was told that teachers had to work as substitutes in their district before even being allowed to apply for a full-time job. If you joined the Navy, you probably would spend at least 12 weeks there.

its a pretty good place to live. You've got the beach near by and the weather is always nice. The dowsid e would probably be that the cost of living can be pricey.

The weather is beautiful but it's extremely expensive and jobs don't pay as well as they do in other parts of the country or even other parts of So. Cal. Most people there are nice but there is definitely a rich, snobby crowd as well.
