You are right though, the saying goes "Left is right and right is wrong" - wrong meaning gay. Its not used much any more, so piercings on the right side don't really mean anything in this day and age.
If you are wanting to show you are a little queer you can always do something unusual for your gender such as a navel piercing. You can also wear the gay pride colors or the bisexual colors on you body jewelry. The bisexual colors are pink, blue and purple.

I'm not sure about what a bi body jewelry would look like but the only thing i know of that shows any kind of gay pride is the rainbow colors

The earring thing isn't true...maybe back in the 90's it was true, but not anymore...
I don't think their is any type of body jewelry that would tell you someone is bi. Thats crazy talk!

Jewelry doesn't mean much of anything anymore. If you want to indicate to others that you are bi, have sex with or flirt with both men and women....or simply tell them you are bi.

A male with a piercing is either a pirate or a gay/bi.
So unless you carry a scimitar and say "harr, matey", an earring will do.

No matter what kind of piercing does not determine your preference. I have a tongue ring and it doesn't mean that I like girls. My fiance loves it and he's a big freak!
