I was a kid in Germany when the Marshall plan was chosen over the Morgen plan.With the Morgen plan Germany would have been a big potato farm after the war .No more.The Marshall plan however allowed for German reconstruction,The establishment of Democrat,and a free marked system.The people were very greatful that it happened this way.However the majority of the population had no idea it could have gone the other way. Ignorant arrogant slobs that they are . Today the US is placated as the villain.george Bush wanted to repeat what was done in Germany back then but he got faulty intelligence or deliberate misinformation.

I think you will have to explain what it is to most people. I only have a very vague notion of what it might be. Is it loans and equipment supplies during the second world war?

Since it came after the end of WWII, I expect most people have never heard of it. Those who have are thankful.
