Yes, I believe the world is now too corrupted. Too many bad things out there, example drugs, cigerettes, alcohol, etc. Kids are hurting kids. It really isn't as nice as a world as it use to be. Pretty scary. People are their own worst .enemies. Look at the pollution. Mankind did it. Not the beautiful animals. age is over 40. shshsh!!!

I don't think it is more dangerous as such, I just think that we are more aware of the dangers than we were growing up in the 70's/early 80's.
For example, there have always been paedophiles through out the ages, however if someone was hurt by one, it was swept under the carpet - because there was a belief that the victim was to blame.
These days we scream loud and clear and put the blame where it belongs.

Not really where I come from, the crime rates a bit higher though. When I was living with my parents we would just go out without locking our doors,( seventies into the eighties) everbody did and you didn't have to worry about people entering your house to steal something, it just didn't happen that often. Just turned 37 last thursday. But as far as terrorism and things go it's definately different now. I think.(Aus)

I'm 51, and I would say yes. I was brought up in a crazy foster home, but 7 yrs ago my sister, and her hubby were brutally murdered. It has turned my life upside down, and I watch TV, and see all the violence. I'm happy I live in a little town were everyone sort of watches out for each other. ~~~~

45 city is a lot more dangerous than when I was younger it used to be you could walk the streets not now if a woman walks down the busy street men want to pick you up plus a lot of bums living on the street and try to hit you up for money

Gun crime, drug abuse, violent drunks, and the state of the world in general all seem to be worse.
