okay think of ur essay like a nice juicey burger.
ok u know that the top bun is the intro.
the body paragraphs support ur introduction with all of the cheese, meat, ketchup and so on...
body paragraphs further explains ur thesis statement ideas.
then we end up with the bottom bun/ conclustion that helps support the rest of the burger.
so basically all the meat in between ur burger buns are ur body paragraphs...yum!

It is the middle of your essay. An essay starts with an Introductory paragraph where you state your hypothesis or what you are going to explain. Then comes the body where you prove or explain your hypothesis, usually at least 3 body paragraphs are required for a standard essay. Then you have the last paragraph which is called the conclusion where you wrap up everything you hav said in the previous paragraphs.
