where can i find a marketing database (for research) on the web?

i'm doing marketing research for an international marketing course. i'm looking at the fast food market in New York city. i want to know things such as competition other fast food stores wanting to enter that market would face, what values new yorkers place on fast food. stuff like that. thanks :-)
