Not immoral, people can do anything with their lives as long as rights are between them and they don't harm third parties (children by instance)

Its a difficult line when we try to apply the concept of morality on this subject. Morality implies conformity to established sanctioned codes or accepted notions of right and wrong. And the notions of right and wrong in society is changing all the time...and is very subjective.

Do I believe that gay marriage is immoral? No, I don't. People do not CHOOSE their sexual orientation...and eventually, America is going to have to understand that. And accept people for who they are...just as skin color has been accepted (generally speaking). I believe that all Americans should enjoy the same rights...as was laid out in the constitution. And denying them that right, using religious morality, is unconstitutional.

I think we can take a page out of Great Britain's book...teaching and demonstrating tollerance amongst citizens. There are enough enemies at our door without fighting amongst ourselves about such issues.

No, I don't think that it is immoral. Any relationship between two people is just that. Don't believe that it is any one else's business what goes on between two consenting adults. Letting them marry would also make it legal for them to be a couple in order to get insurance benefits that they may not otherwise qualify for. Many straight couples have the same problem of not being legal to qualify for things that a married couple would. Even if they have been together the same number of years.

This is an issue I really struggle with because I feel that they can not help their what their sexuality is and why should anyone be alone? I am ok with civil unions, but not so sure about marriage. Other than that, they are people too and deserve the same human rights as the rest of us.

immoral? nah. But its reminds me a little of my dog (who is girl) trying to hump my leg. She has just never been right since she got fixed. I thnk gay people can be gay if they want to be. I have no problem with that. But they can't get married. Just like they can't really have sexual intercourse. As the very definiton of it demands that it be between a man and a woman. (inter -between the two sexes). Gays have something more like intracourse.

Same goes for marriage. It can only be between a man and woman.

You talk about immorality but take out religion. hmmm....well then. nature did not create men to mate with men and the same for women. That is why. It is against nature.

after being married for 20 years, I can't understand why anyone would want to be married gay or straight.

I can't possibly be immoral because nobody is harmed.

It's a mutual, consensual relationship.

Well, if a couple are gay or happy while married, then that is probably a good thing.
