I came off the pill last summer after taking it for about 5 years.
My periods were ok for a while. Then I missed my periods for 2.5 months. Then I got it but it was very very long and started very light and went on for about 10 days lightly. Im not pregnant I had a test done.
Now 3 weeks later I have my period again!!
Is this because of stopping the pill even thou i stopped it back last summer!!?
Its sooo annoying - Im going to speak with my doc but just wnated reasons for the above - im thinking of going back on the pill to regulate me again!

I should add - I had xrays of my pelvis bone done a while back so i would have though this would of picked up any cists as its near there or no?

Only your Gyn can answer this.
I can tell you that if you were irregular before you went on the pill, many women never get regular when they go off of it due to hormonal problems or PCOS.

well your body has been used to being on the pill for 5 years! i doubt it will be sorted in 8-9 months.
best advice is from a doctor ;o)

it can be stress try some relaxation techniques such as yoga to calm down
