TEHRAN (AFP) - War epic "300", a smash hit in the United States for its gory portrayal of the Greco-Persian wars, has drawn the wrath of Iranians for showing their ancestors as bloodthirsty "savages".
I looked at this news article and wondered why they are really upset about their "ancestors" being thought of as bloodthirsty savages. Maybe they should stop sending jihadists into Iraq and the world would stop looking at them TODAY as being bloodthirsty savages.

It is a sad comment on the human condition. We so easily see problems in others but not in ourselves.
Does is mean that if you maim and destroy other human beings with "modern" means it is less savage? I think not.
May God ( or whatever diety you choose to believe in) help us all.
