i have a statue made of wood that is an asian warrior with a rifle at his side and a plaque on the bottom that says 125th nappier riffles c.1905. anyone know about it, its history and value. cheers

Indian regiment, re-formed, and re-named in 1903, remained so until 1922, when they united with 104th Wellesley's Rifles, 120th Rajputana Infantry, 122nd Rajputana Infantry, 123rd Outram's Rifles, and 13th Rajputs (The Shekhawati Regiment), to form 5th Bn, 6th Rajputana Rifles.

No notable action in 1905, as far as I can see, but this was probably a proud member of the regiment commemorating his joining....or something like that.
