I have just read the book about his brother, and would like to know if she was ever prosecuted, or was anything done?

Hi i loved these books,in the last one a man named Dave,he eventually plucks up the courage to go back and see his mum,expecting an apology or at least an explanation,he gets neither,he goes for closure to be able to move on with his life, she was never prosecuted and eventually she dies, all the brothers get together for the funeral and that is the last time they see each other as they are so messed up because of their childhood and their own feelings of guilt, because of what happened to dave.There is another book out now by the youngest brother,the one she treated ok,telling his story.

His mother wasn't prosecuted in fact she had Dave taken away but that was it. He was told to stay away, I'm sure he didn't want to go anywhere near her anyway. In fact she got to keep the other children too. His brother Richard also has a book out there about what it was like living with her after Dave was gone. He became her next victim, and went from being one of the angelic sons to the new child called it.
That woman nowadays would have been prosecuted and it's just a shame the boys had to go through that.

if my memory serves me rightly, in his second book she is prosecuted but dies soon after.
You should check out his third and second book. Also his younger brother, Richard, has written about it from his point of view.
If you like Dave`s books, you may also enjoy Torey Haydens books, they are very similar.

The best book i ever read did you read all three if not get them you wont be able to put them down

i read the first book in a day, as i was so stunned with disbelief. Wasnt it awful. She was clearly mentally ill.

I don't think anything happened to her although years later he did meet up with her and found out why she was the way she was, although it didn't let the reader know and i think she is now dead.

No she wasnt prosecuted. I believe she is now dead.
