I think both are funny but jefferson had a certain flair about him that was more entertaining

I liked Archie Bunker a lot more. He was a racist and bigot, but he never knew it. George Jefferson knew it and spouted it every chance he got.

Bunker, He was sincere and a product of his upbringing, where Jefferson actually wanted to appear like a jerk.
