is there an easy way to make an arch in an internal doorway and if so where do i purchase it. ps in uk

B&Q have a good kit.It is an arch made out aluminiam,pre formed to fit standard doorways,it is easy to fit,all you have to do is a bit of plastering,then you paint or wallpaper to your own decor.enjoy.

you build the arch front and back out of pylwood. then you secure it to blocks.
The rest you add backing so drywall or plaster board will have something to adhere to.
draw the arch on paper first then copy it to plywood.
remember to keep it inset enough for the drywall.

A simple way is to just fill a curve into each corner and accept that as an arch. Then smooth it out with drywall mesh and mud.

you will have to rip out the the top part of the framing and reframe, sheetrock, tape and paint it, they don't come premade.
