Is she putting any thought into these adoptions or is she acting like a woman who takes in one stray cat after another? How can you adopt a child and get to know him/her and have the child develop love and trust for you in just a couple months before you're running off to a different country for yet another child? Does anyone else see abandonment issue possibilities in the future?

Koko But--my question gives no indication I am anti-celeb as you infer. In fact, I watch few movies/tv because of inferior acting. Their personal lives are as interesting to me as the mating of farm animals. However, I do think when you take a child out of an impoverished country it was born in to bring it to one of fabulous wealth like ours you're setting the child up for confusion. Kids need time to adjust to surroundings and people. I think it's great when people adopt--just not at the rate of rabbits producing their young. You don't say if your Mom was adopted or not. I would expect her homelife was much more stable than the one I'm presenting.

She is now an official "child-hoarder". But Mia still leads the pack. How tragic that ordinary people cannot adopt overseas because of cost and redtape, but Rosie and Angelina are snapping 'em up.
These poor children will be nothing but publc novelties and because there are so many of them, will have full bellies but still be alone.

At least Mia Farrow stayed home with her children and gave them a stable home. Angelina Jolie seems to be obsessed with her own publicity. Having loads of money and adopting lots of children does not make a woman a good mother. I think she's trying to outdo Madonna.

I TOTALLY agree. It's the rush of the adoption that she's after. That feeling of doing something good. Mind you, she's done a lot of charitable things but I think adopting non-stop a la Mia Farrow or Josephine Baker is not a good way to go.

Angelina seems to have good intent but she needs to be careful in adopting too many kids too soon. All the travel could potentially be bad too. She needs to make sure the current kids are well taken care of and ready for more kids.

Yes she's always running around the world and not creating a stable home the way Mia did, however, the children are at least better off than they were.

I think what she is doing is great, if all these people with money followed her steps and adopted at least 1 child, this world would be a happier place. I admire what she is doing, she is not a selfish human being, she is sharing her abundance with others and that is something all of us should respect, another person who is to admire is Oprah Winfrey!

The bottom line is, those kids are going to have a much better life under Angelina's care than they would otherwise, right?

Is someone a bit too obsessed over celebs?
Leave Angie alone. She is a person like everyone else and doesn't deserve any more criticism than that of a someone you see walking down the street.
P.S.- My mother was one of near ten kids and she is fine.

I think a lot of it is the "Look what I'm doing" complex that a lot of actors do. She needs to eat some food. She looks terrible.
