That half the time didn't even exist before they created it.

I'm not talking about the producer, director, or any other filmmakers. I'm talking about people (who aren't even part of the entertainment industry) who feel that ethnic groups and the like should be outraged by something that isn't even intended to be offensive toward them.

Because they like to agitate people. They had no intention of enjoying the movie if they even watched it. Pretty much just complainers that like to hear themselves talk.
Had one going on about "300" yesterday because of the way the Persians where portrayed. Ended up starting a Racism rant.
Silly, petty, and missing out on great films. Their loss.

I would ask the reverse of Hollywood producers. Why do they almost constantly have to inject some kind of political affiliation (Conservative if the person is supposed to be evil and democrat if the person is not only a good citizen, but a stand up hero). This is done when it adds nothing to the main story line. People, especially those who are impressionable, see these things enough and it is like that old saying. Tell a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.

Sometimes I think it was not "meant to be" by the writers or Producers, but then some power from where ever makes the change.

For instance, in 24, the first season was non political. Even a good part of the second season avoided who is conservative and who is liberal, because it wasn't pertinant to the plotline. For several episodes, the character of Sen Palmer was given no affiliation he was just a target. Later, of course, he got the heroic D. On Prison break, all the bad people, be it conspiritors or those who cave to influence for power are supporters of Gun rights, the Death penalty and don't like environmentalists. Not a true picture of a conservative, but you can see th R attached to their names.

There are some movies from Hollywood with no political digs or stabs, but far too often they are included when it is not needed for the plot.

What, are you going to tell me you are delusional and that Democrats have never done anything wrong while in power? ALL politicians lie, and their shortcommings don't always end there regardless of wether they are Democrat or Republican.

im gonna give this one a stab, cuz im not entirely sure what you're even asking.

people add political messages to movies in order to make an audience think about the issue presented in the movie and persuade them to think the way the producer does.
