1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
125 g butter, melted
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 180º C (350º F). Grease or line cookie tray.
Mix together sugar and butter.
Add egg yolk and vanilla, mix well.
Stir in flour and choc chips.
Place teaspoonfuls onto tray and bake for 12 minutes.
OREO COOKIE DESSERT I
20 oz. Oreo cookies, crushed
1/2 c. butter, melted
8 oz. cream cheese
12 oz. Cool Whip
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 lg. instant chocolate pudding
Mix together crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Save a few crushed cookies to garnish top of dessert. Layer in bottom of 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking pan. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Cream together softened cream cheese, 1/2 Cool Whip and powdered sugar; layer on cookies. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
Prepare pudding according to package directions. Layer on cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Sprinkle with reserved Oreo cookies. Refrigerate.

OREO! I LOVE OREO! and anything that has Oreo in it, like Oreo MacPhluiry i dont know how to spell that :P or the ice cream kind which i'm in recent regert i picked a nasty tasting french vinalla ice cream from the store when i could have gotten the oreo! i will never do that again, i also nicknamed Orlando Bloom(my favorite actor) Oreo cuz he's sweet and yummy just like oreos

I'm going way, way back--probably before you were born. It was called a "half-moon" cookie (some places called it a "black and white"). My Mom would get it at Elks Bakery in Endicott, NY and once in a while she would buy a package of them from company called Durkees (I think). Of course they weren't as good as the bakery's. The cookies were a chocolate cake. Half of the cookie had white frosting and the other half was chocolate. They were large in dimension and very satisfying.
