I personally dont like them much but they are not bad. I just dont like the white helmets with the navy jerseys. I wish they would have gone to the powder blues but whatever. I just wanted some other Charger fans opinions. I know I will probably get some dumb remarks from non Chargers fans but thats ok. If you havent seen them you can view the new jerseys here

Crash Fu nice about the Norv Turner :) hahaha. Yeah they dont show the helmets but they are white with a yellow bolt outlined in the powder blue. You can kind of see it on the front page of Chargers.com you have to click at the bottom of the pic to continue to the home page. Wednesday is the big release day and all the pics will be out. I'm sure they will grow on us. Well at least they arent as bad as the old Padres uni's and for the Padres fans they will know exactly which ones I'm talking about. lol

Not too bad... this coming from a Bronco fan no less.
I'm with you on the white helmet. It's kind of bland. The numbers and bolts look sharp. Navy is a good color, just not very distinctive/unique. A number of teams have infused dark or navy blue recently.
In all, safe, and not too shabby. Antonio Gates will be terrifying in the new gear...
As for Charger fans, I would worry more about Norv Turner ruining the team.

I had been on the fence about them for a while, but after seeing some creative mock ups by talented photo shop people, I am liking them more and more.
I agree that they look much better than the other teams with new unis (Bills, Vikes and esp. Patsies)
The helmet has not been completely shown but I think it will look great. Pearlescent white with the yellow bolt with powder and navy blue outline. Also, the player’s number will be on the back instead of the old style on the side. (I never liked that look)
All in all, it will be a great uniform and I know the rest of the NFL will get a great look at them as the Bolts run them over and many will get a great look at number 21 running away from them towards the end zone!

I liked the old uniform but then again I'm always reluctant to change this type of thing. I think perhaps a darker blue makes a team more fierce looking. I didn't see the helmet on the link you provided but apparently it's white with bolts on it. Again, not a big fan of white helmets.
Anyway, Big Mr. Rivers and Tough Mr. T will do it again this year. Go Chargers!

I haven't seen the helmets yet, but from what I have seen of the Uniforms I like them. Or put it this way, I don't hate them as much as I have hated almost all of the other new NFL uniforms (Vikings, Falcons, Cardinals, Bills all stink).
Like you I would have rather seen them gone to the Powder Blue unis full time, but this uniform seems like something to honor the past (the comments Tomlinson made about each era of Chargers having their own distinctive look were excellent) but giving the current team their own look. And with the issues the Chargers have with the way they fired Marty Schottenheimer, they need all the positive press they can get.

I'm not a Chargers fan, but I kinda like them better than the past home jersey. I LOVE the powder blue jerseys! But Reebok is the licensed apparel maker of the NFL and I guarantee you they had a HUGE say in the new jerseys. Reebok is doing the same thing with hockey, changing the jerseys. Ever since all the teams switched over to Reebok in late 90's, teams have tweaked their uniforms in some form or another. Go LT!

That powder blue has ruined many a uniform for many communities....enable's wish that that's in basic terms a particular uniform to be worn very not often, and that different communities do no longer resurrect a shade that ought to be prevented in any respect expenditures. sure, it seems very stupid. Even my son (who generally do no longer pay interest to issues like that) that replaced into passing for the duration of the room for the duration of the sport commented on their "unusual" visual charm. We stated that's what they wore some time past while...and then he shook his head.

I like the powder blue uni's a lot more than the new ones. Are the new helmets like the throwback ones?

I bet it makes a big difference in their play and they win the Superbowl this year.
However, they would have gone 19-0 to win the Superbowl had they gone with the powder blue jerseys.

Lets just say when they come on sale in authentic... i will be ordering one...
Personally, i think they're better looking than the old ones. They're more edgey and just an awesome overall design. i'm anxious to see the helmet though, i heard they're going to change the yellow of the helmet to a gold... but who knows.. i think it'll look good.

Not bad, but not great. I for one was GLAD they didn't go back to those god awful powder blue uniforms. The powder blue have to be one of worse uniform combinations EVER. They rank right up there with the old tangerine and yellow Tampa Bay uniforms.
