Well I don't play drums but I think it is a little high. I only pay $15 dollars for a 30 min. oboe lesson.

is it a private lesson or a collection? i had my lesson on the instant and im having yet another the next day too, yay! i take inner maximum so thats how unwell answer. in my first lesson they only inform you what youll coach you and that they inform you to prepare the spectacular wrist strikes. its exceedingly straightforward so dont difficulty. theyll coach you each little thing which you ought to be attentive to. i felt like that as quickly as i began out, 6 years later and that i will play exceedingly plenty something. the wrist mmovements are what complication some and takes a at the same time as to verify, you will properly be stiff, good success! btw, its a lot of relaxing, slightly confusing however. have relaxing!!! =)

It depends who you're studying with. The best players charge up to $100 an hour, but unless you're a pretty advanced player, I wouldn't recommend paying more than $15-20 for 30 min.

It doesn't sound reasonable, but I don't doubt that's what it costs. If you are a beginner, you could probably get an instructional video for $20 bucks. This expensive lesson is probably for intermediate players. You could always try to find someone who plays to show you a few things.

If the guy is a qualified teacher, yes. He will save you months of time that you could otherwise waste in picking up bad habits by trying to teach yourself.

I think $10 - $12 is resonable for a half an hour. No more than $12...!!!
