nope.
guinea pigs are originally from andean regions of south america (bolivia, peru,...) and lemmings from arctic regions.
guinea pigs belong to the family Caviidae and the genus Cavia, while lemmings, together with the voles and muskrats, make up the subfamily Arvicolinae (also known as Microtinae), which forms part of the largest mammal radiation by far, the superfamily Muroidea, which also includes the rats, mice, hamsters, and gerbils.
the first thing you notice when comparing the 2 is the differnce in size: lemmings are smaller weighing about 1-4oz compared to guinea pigs (1-3lbs), but there are many more differences!....

Nope... their different animals
Both are rodents, but beyond that their relationship ends. Lemmings are Muridae making them related to mice, rats and gerbils. Guinea pigs are Caviidae, an order including guinea pigs and cavys.
