I am looking for people who know someone or have experience with the visitation or custody issuse of an american parent and a child residing in germany. Do you get to see your child or be in contact with your child?
Any advise?

Well evry case is an individual case with its peculiarities and therefore cannot be take as an example for another case. In principle, though, parent/s has every right for visitation unless there are strong reasons against it for the welfare of the child. Hence, my advice is that you should get a lawyer, who knows German law, to examine your case and advise you accordingly.

All the best!/
