African Americans?

K so I need some reasons why African Americans should not have equal rights as everyone else today? And no my teacher isn't racist.

If you are referring to true African Americans as in those who were born in Africa and became American citizens then they do not have the rights as natural born as in they cannot be President. But if you are referring to black Americans who are wrongly titled African American then they would not be denied any rights under the constitution. African Americans are those Americans who were born in Africa and became citizens of America by Law.

I'm an African American and I believe that we deserve the equal treatment as any other person gets, no matter what the color of their skin is. There isn't any reasons why we shouldn't have equal rights, and if anybody puts any reasons they can really go to HELL!!!

You know the list of derogatory names of nations and people. You probably belong to one too if you think about it.

Seriously. My first line IS the only answer to that question. There is no "every one else" there is just us. If that is what your teacher wants you to learn from this...he's a smart person and not a racist.

uhhh yeah your teacher is. African American deserve the same rights as Americans. And women do too, no matter what their race.

well, sorry to disappoint you, but there are no reasons. they are people and according to the Constitution, every person is equal. this includes equal oppurtunity
