No, he wasnt in the top 3. Durant was the best freshman. He averaged something like 28 points and 10 rebounds a game. Beverly was nowhere near that.

Durant was the best freshman in the country. If you ever watched him play, you'd know that. The guy is 6'9" with the longest wingspan in college basketball. He can hit the three better than MacNamera, and has inside moves better than Kevin Garnett.

Did you pay attention to college basketball this year. He isnt top 3 Oden Durant and Scottie Reynolds were all better than him. I even think Steven Curry of Davidson was better.
